Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Academic ethics are the necessary fundamental principle of research reputation. To promote academic integrity and publish high-quality research works, Noble International Journal of Economics and Financial Research (NIJEFR) issues the following Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement about the expected ethical behavior for all parties related to Noble International Journal of Economics and Financial Research (NIJEFR) publication, including the author, the peer reviewer, and the NIJEFR editor. NIJEFR follows the guidelines of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and its Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing. Our journals follow COPE’s procedures for dealing with potentially unethical behavior by authors, reviewers or editors.


Publication and Authorship

  • All submitted manuscripts to the Noble International Journal of Economics and Financial Research are subject to strict peer-review process by at least two international reviewers.
  • The factors that are taken into account in review are relevance, soundness, significance, originality, readability and language.
  • The possible decisions include acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection.
  • If authors are encouraged to revise and resubmit a submission, there is no guarantee that the revised submission will be accepted.
  • Rejected manuscripts will not be re-reviewed.
  • No research can be included in more than one publication.
  • NIJEFR requests all authors not to submit same paper in multiple journals.
  • Forbidden plagiarism and fraudulent date.
  • Forbidden to publish the same research in different languages.

 

Authors’ Responsibilities

  • Authors must certify that their manuscripts are their original work.
  • Authors must certify that the manuscript has not previously been published elsewhere.
  • Authors must certify that the manuscript is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • Authors must participate in the peer review process.
  • Authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.
  • All Authors mentioned in the paper must have significantly contributed to the research.
  • Authors must state that all data in the paper are original and authentic.
  • Authors must notify the editors of any conflicts of interest.
  • Authors must identify all sources used in the creation of their manuscript.
  • Authors must report any errors they discover in their published paper to the editors.

 

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  • Reviews should be conducted objectively, with no personal criticism of the author.
  • Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts only for their intellectual content.
  • Reviewers must keep information pertaining to the manuscript confidential.
  • Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
  • Reviewers should keep all information regarding papers confidential and treat them as privileged information.
  • Reviewers should not review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
  • Promptness is necessary. If the selected reviewer feels inadequate to review the paper or cannot promptly review the paper, the reviewer should inform the editor and drop out of the peer review process of the paper.

 

Editors’ Responsibilities

  • Editorship: Editors (chief editor, associate editor or member of the editorial board) are expert in the field and play central roles in the peer-review process. Editors are selected based on their excellent qualification, and reputation in the field. They are expected to strictly follow guidelines to not only maintain quality of publications but also to ensure best possible publication ethics.
  • Confidentiality: Editors shall only access the submitted manuscripts for evaluation of quality and peer-review process. They shall not disclose any contents (full or partial) in any media (electronic or print) before the publication of the material or without prior written consent of the authors. Any idea or concept generated through the submitted manuscript shall not be used for personal benefits or financial gain.
  • Assessment of Manuscripts: Editors shall evaluate contents purely based on the scientific quality and advancement in the existing understanding. Decisions shall not be based on race, gender, geographical origin, religion, and ethnicity and on any other personal or commercial interests.
  • Flexibility and Cooperation: Editors are required to suggest and support the ethical standards, be willing to consider retractions, rectifications, and erratum and cooperate with authors to improve the quality of publications.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Editors shall not consider any submitted manuscript for the review process himself/herself where there is conflict of interests. In such situations, an alternative associate editor or member of the editorial board shall be considered.
  • Accountabilities: In case publisher suspect any form of misconduct, malpractice or unethical act, the matter shall be investigated promptly in agreement with authors and would be solved with diligence.
  • Editors have complete responsibility and authority to reject/accept an article.
  • Editors are responsible for the contents and overall quality of the publication.
  • Editors should guarantee the quality of the papers and the integrity of the academic record.
  • Editors should not allow any conflicts of interest between staff, authors, reviewers and board members.



Policies
In order to publish your article, (NIJEFR) needs your agreement about the publication and distribution of the article. Before the submission of an article you may know about the policies given below.

Copyright:
Submission of an article to the (NIJEFR) an author also needs to fill and sign the copyright form and submit to the editorial office. By this agreement, he also retains significant rights to use and share his own published article. All publisher and author rights are mentioned in the copyright form/agreement available here.By submitting your article for publication to one of our journal, you promise that the article is your original work, has not previously been published, and is not currently under consideration by another publication. The copyright/agreement transfer covers the exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the article, including reprint, translation, photographic reproduction, microform, electronic form (online, offline) or any other reproduction of similar nature.

Article Sharing:
After publication, the author can share his published work at many other platforms for getting more citation audience, visibility and reputation of published work for their professional career. 
• The author can share his published article on press and social media. A sharing option is available on every published article.
• The author may share his article on his personal website or blog.
• The author can share his article on any indexing database or institutional repository.


Open Access:
NIJEFR is an open access international journal. It provides free access to its users to the full text of manuscripts. It is free access for the author and reader to download PDF of published article on just a single click.

Policies on Article Withdrawal:
After submission of the article, if an author needs to withdraw his article due to some reasons, the editor investigates the matter and reason for withdrawal. The author can request for withdrawal within ONE week of submission.

Duplicate Submission:
Papers that are found to have been published elsewhere, or to be under review elsewhere, will incur duplicate submission/publication sanctions. If authors have used their own previously published study, or  study that is currently under review, as the basis for a submitted manuscript, they are required to cite the previous paper and indicate how their submitted manuscript offers novel contributions beyond those of the previous work.

 

Fabrication and Falsification:

The authors of submitted manuscripts or published articles that are found to have fabricated or falsified the results, including the manipulation of images, may incur sanctions, and published articles may be retracted.

 

Corrections and Retractions:

When errors are identified in published articles, the publisher will consider what action is required and may consult the editors and the authors’ institution(s).

Errors by the authors may be corrected by a corrigendum and errors by the publisher by an erratum.

If there are errors that significantly affect the conclusions or there is evidence of misconduct, this may require retraction or an expression of concern following the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

All authors will be asked to agree to the content of the notice.
